The Chemex Coffeemaker was invented in 1941 by Dr. Peter Schlumbohm PhD. Made simply from non-porous, borosilicate glass, it brews coffee without imparting any flavors of its own. Chemex is also a family owned company with a mission is to provide superior coffee brewing equipment. The iconic Chemex has remained unchanged for 70 years and counting.
The Chemex coffee maker, together with Chemex-Bonded coffee filter, makes perfect coffee. Clear, pure, flavorful and without bitterness or sediment every time.
